Maytag fridge repairs for refrigerators and freezers.

Over 99% of our Fridge Repair service calls are “First Call Fix”. For the other 1% we still have other solutions if needed. Your Maytag Refrigerator Repair Service Field Technician will advise you should this situation arise.

When requesting service on a Maytag refrigeration product (Refrigerators or Freezers), ask if the appliance should be left plugged in and running. In most cases it is required, however, sometimes this will cause further damage and should be avoided.

Common Maytag Refrigerator and Freezer Service Call Questions:

Q: How do I book a Service Call for my Maytag?
A: Locate your model number and check we service your area, if so, then call us. Check our “Service Areas We Cover.”

Q: I work full time – how long does the average repair take? About 30-50 minutes will usually see us in and out and your Maytag fixed.
A: About 30-50 minutes will usually see us in and out and your Maytag fixed.

Q: Is there any discount available for Senior Citizens on Maytag repairs?
A: To assist those on fixed income, we give Seniors Card holders 10% discount on all parts & labour.

Q: Can you give me a “free quote”?
A: No. We do not offer options such as “free quote”. As most people know all travel and technician time needs to be paid for or costed in, and our service is no exception. We do the call out, view and assess your Maytag and offer you the best options to get your fridge back going again.

Q: What do I do about ongoing problems with my Maytag refrigerator or freezer?
A: If you have had a previous service call for your Maytag and it still is not right, please don't hesitate to contact us again. If it is an intermittent fault, it would be very helpful if you can record anything that might be relevant as to why the fault or when the fault is occurring.

Q: My electricity goes off when we plug the fridge in. Is this a major or serious fault, and is it usually the fridge that is the problem?
A: This is most likely the fridge causing this if there are no problems with other appliances. It is the most common fault we attend to, most notably on the popular frost-free models. There is an element designed to remove ice from the evaporator in the fridge and that can commonly be the issue with this type of fault. Your Maytag should be fine after a moderate cost service call.

Q: What should I do when my fridge leaks water on the inside that has then run out onto the floor? Is this a temporary problem?
A: Refrigerators have an internal drain system that can occasionally get blocked. This isn't a temporary problem and will need a service call to dismantle and clean the drainage system. This will usually be the cause of drain overflow, with flushing the system and checking it after to see this has handled the issue the usual remedy. We will be able to give you an estimate based on the model and age of your Maytag when you place your service call.

Q: How do I know if my fridge is operating correctly and keeping my food stored at the correct temperature?
A: The best indicator is to monitor any milk you are storing. Milk should generally be kept fresh and in good condition until the expiry date marked on the bottle or carton. Ice cream stored in the freezer should be firm. If your milk is going off quickly and ice cream in the freezer is soft, you should check your temperature dial or thermostat and if adjusting this does not rectify the problem you should place a service call. Ideal temperatures are between (+0.5C to +4.5C) in the food compartment and between (-15C to –21C) in the freezer compartment. Storing food outside these guidelines can result in spoilage and possible contamination and may affect the safety of food so stored.

Q: Why are Model numbers important when I book my service call?
A: There can be many changes and updates in later models and a lot of the new parts do not fit earlier appliances due to improvements and modifications that have been made. Like cars, fridges have many model and part numbers particular to that manufacturer. Also, a manufacturer may change a part of the model sometimes half way through the year with different parts used on later appliances that carry the same model number.

Q: What Maytag Fridge Models do you service?

Including the following numbers: C190DN, C190DN, C190DN, C260DP2, C270SK, C270SKA-A, C270SKL, C301T, CS2127CAHW, CSX22DMB, G32026PEKS, G32526PEKB12, GBU20KBRWW, GC20C8C3EB, GC2224GEKB, GC2225GEKS, GC2227EE, GC2227EED1, GC2227EED5, GC2227EED5-11, GC2227GEH1, GC2327PEDW, GCG21IEMFWW, GETFFA24RVF, GF2327EEW15, GS20B6N3EV, GS20C6N3EV, GS2126PADB, GS2126PADW, GS2126PEDW, GS2126PW, GS2127CADW, GS2127CADW/13, GS2127CADW/17, GS2127CADW15, GS2127CADW2, GS2127CAHB, GS2127CAHW, GS2127PADW, GS2127PAHW, GS2127PAHW13, GS2127PW, GS216PADW26, GS2325GEKW, GS2325GEWKW, GS2327EADW, GS2327EEDW, GS2327EEDW/15, GS2327EEDW11, GS24C6C3EB, GS2625GEKS, GS2727EAD118, GS2727EADI, GS2727EEDW, GS2727GAHI, GSA22KEMCFWW, GSE22KETAFSS, GSE25MGTBCSS, GSG201BMBFWW, GSG201BPCFWW, GSG201ESAFBB, GSG22KEPHFWW, GT1527PACW, GT1626, GT1727PVCW, GT1928PACW, GT1928PACW11, GWF06, GZ2626GEKB, GZ2727GEHB, LAT9704AGE, MB1927PEHW, MC2125PALS, MT1526PAKS-11, MZ2727EEGW, PCG21SIMHFBS, PCG23SHSBFSS, PCP21SIMFFBS, PCP23SHMFFBS, PDU20MCRWW, PDU20SFSSS, PF622PRSN, PSA22MIMDFBB, PSA22MMCFWW, PSE29NHTCCSS, PSG22SIPCFBS, PSG22SIREFSS, PSG25SGMHCBS, PSG25SGSACSS, PSG27NHMHCBB, PSG29SHMHCBS, PSG29SHSACBS, PSG29SHSCSS-PU, PTU427SAMRSS, PTU527SAMRSS, RDS2050AGE, RSD2050AGE, RSW2250AGE, RSW2400AGE, T210, T280AD6, T300AT, T310AD, T340, T350ADN, T361AT, TA11E, TA11S, TB15DEL, TB290, TB290DQ, TB290SQ, TB33050, TB360DJ, TB360DN, TB360DQ, TB370SK, TB390SM, TB400DN, TB470DN, TBC270DM, TBC270DQ, TBE16JASJR, TBE19PASPRWW, TBF21, TBF210BB, TBF22RCC, TBG14JAZCRWH, TBG18JAX, TBR12ANTRWH, TBR15ANTRWWH, TBR351ANBRWH, TBX18AGB, TBX23ZHBR, TCB270DM, TF125DJ, TF125DT, TF160L, TF330, TF330K, TF330SK, TF380DML, TF390DQ, TF430, TF430DK, TF430SK, TF450DM, TF460DG, TF460DN, TF460DQ, TF4800KAB, TFE27RMA, TFF20R, TFF24R, TFF24RB, TFF24RBB, TFF24RBC, TFF24RCM, TFF24RRO, TFF24RWP, TFFA24RWD, TFG20JABAWW, TFG20JAWW, TFG20JAXA, TFG20JR, TFG20JRWH, TFG20JRXA, TFG20JRXWH, TFG22JRWH, TFG22JRXA, TFG22PR, TFG22PRXA, TFG22ZR, TFG24PRXA, TFG24RLG, TFG24ZFXA, TFG26PRDABB, TFG27PFSM, TFG27PFXA, TFG28PF-DABS, TFG28PFCEBS, TFG28PFDA, TFX22RLB, TFX22RLC, TFX22RMB, TFX24F, TFX24R, TFX24RLB, TFX24RLG, TFX24RLJ, TFX27F, TFXW22RNA, TFZ22PR, TGF20JR, TPG21BR, TPG21BRDABB, TPG21PR, TPG24BFBB, XRSS264BW.
