Jennair fridge repairs for refrigerators and freezers.

Over 99% of our Fridge Repair service calls are “First Call Fix”. For the other 1% we still have other solutions if needed. Your Jenn-Air Refrigerator Repair Service Field Technician will advise you should this situation arise.

When requesting service on a Jenn-Air refrigeration product (Refrigerators or Freezers), ask if the appliance should be left plugged in and running. In most cases it is required, however, sometimes this will cause further damage and should be avoided.

Common Jenn-Air Refrigerator and Freezer Service Call Questions:

Q: What do I do to book a Service Call?
A: If you can locate the model number before you call, that will be helpful, however if you cannot ascertain this, then we will locate the model number and work from there when we arrive to the call. As long as you are located in the Service Areas We Cover and have a Jenn-Air fridge or freezer we should be able to assist.

Q: How long should I expect your repair call to be?
A: Most of the time, fridge repairs are completed in 30mins to 50mins. There can be exceptions if the repair involves more work, but this is the generally the amount of time you should plan around.

Q: Do I qualify for any discount as a Senior Citizen when I use your company for a fridge repair?
A: Absolutely! We give any Seniors Card holder a 10% discount on both parts required as well as the labour component of your repair.

Q: I am concerned about cost and notice your company does not offer a “free service call” or “free quote”, and wondered why this was?
A: As the saying goes: “there is no such thing as a 'free lunch'”. What this term means is: “free with repair”. They have costs to attend and give you the quote, and if you were to decide not to proceed, or to reject their quote if you found too high, you will find you will need to pay for the call out. There is no free service, just a different way of costing and passing the cost on to the consumer.

Q: I am finding it a bit difficult to get my issue resolved, as I have had my Jennair refrigerator or freezer repaired and I am not 100% satisfied but don't like to complain. What is the best way to handle this issue?
A: We are sorry that this inconvenience has occurred as we understand people rely on the freezer or fridge to do the job. Without having specifics, we can't advise, except to say that telling us exactly what has happened and what has gone wrong in the order it occurred will help us get to the bottom of the matter and get the fridge/freezer working and you the customer satisfied.

Q: My electricity turns off when I plug my Jenn-Air in. I am concerned whether this is an electrical fault and is it major?
A: With frost-free models, this is a common complaint that we get. The usual cause of such an issue is the frost-free models have an element designed to remove ice from the evaporator. As we carry the Jennair replacement parts, this is a fault usually worth fixing, as the cost is acceptable to most people. As it depends on the model in question, best to give us a call and we will help you on how to proceed.

Q: What options do I have when my fridge leaks water on the inside that then runs onto the floor?
A: A service call should be able to handle this. Most current refrigerators use an internal drain system that can get blocked, causing the drain to overflow instead of draining out. Servicing would include cleaning the drain parts, doing a system flush and with a drain apparatus reassemble. Access and complexity of the appliance mean times to do this can vary. We can usually give you an idea when you place your service call so you know what to expect.

Q: Is my fridge operating correctly and keeping my food stored at the correct temperature?
A: Milk is a good practical clue to the effectiveness of your cooling as it should generally be fresh and in good condition until the expiry date marked on the container. Another way to check on this is to look at your ice cream in the freezer, which should not be mushy nor soft. If milk is spoiling and ice cream in the freezer is not firm, check your temperature dial or thermostat and adjust. If this doesn't sort it out, place a service call to us. Optimal temperatures are between (+0.5C to +4.5C) in the general food area and between (-15C to –21C) in the freezer section. These guidelines have proven to be safe and if not followed can cause problems with spoilage and possible contamination and could compromise food safety.

Q: What is a re-gassing and do I need this?
A: No. Only in the case of a leak of the gas would this be needed, not as a “servicing” point as some people believe.

Q: Why do I need the Model number when I book a service call?
A: As technology has evolved, improvements are made with each subsequent model, as with any other manufacturing area. As this occurs, a lot of the parts are not interchangeable. Fridges and freezers have many more features now compared with even a few years ago, and having the model number means we have the best chance of having the right parts for your model appliance. You may not be aware that manufacturers make running changes, and modifications to their models, and these can be at any time in the life of the model produced. This can mean that different parts are used on later builds of the same same model numbers.

Q: How do I know what Jenn-Air Fridge Models do you service?
A: If it is a Jenn-Air we will service it, including the following model numbers: C190DN, C190DN, C190DN, C260DP2, C270SK, C270SKA-A, C270SKL, C301T, CS2127CAHW, CSX22DMB, G32026PEKS, G32526PEKB12, GBU20KBRWW, GC20C8C3EB, GC2224GEKB, GC2225GEKS, GC2227EE, GC2227EED1, GC2227EED5, GC2227EED5-11, GC2227GEH1, GC2327PEDW, GCG21IEMFWW, GETFFA24RVF, GF2327EEW15, GS20B6N3EV, GS20C6N3EV, GS2126PADB, GS2126PADW, GS2126PEDW, GS2126PW, GS2127CADW, GS2127CADW/13, GS2127CADW/17, GS2127CADW15, GS2127CADW2, GS2127CAHB, GS2127CAHW, GS2127PADW, GS2127PAHW, GS2127PAHW13, GS2127PW, GS216PADW26, GS2325GEKW, GS2325GEWKW, GS2327EADW, GS2327EEDW, GS2327EEDW/15, GS2327EEDW11, GS24C6C3EB, GS2625GEKS, GS2727EAD118, GS2727EADI, GS2727EEDW, GS2727GAHI, GSA22KEMCFWW, GSE22KETAFSS, GSE25MGTBCSS, GSG201BMBFWW, GSG201BPCFWW, GSG201ESAFBB, GSG22KEPHFWW, GT1527PACW, GT1626, GT1727PVCW, GT1928PACW, GT1928PACW11, GWF06, GZ2626GEKB, GZ2727GEHB, LAT9704AGE, MB1927PEHW, MC2125PALS, MT1526PAKS-11, MZ2727EEGW, PCG21SIMHFBS, PCG23SHSBFSS, PCP21SIMFFBS, PCP23SHMFFBS, PDU20MCRWW, PDU20SFSSS, PF622PRSN, PSA22MIMDFBB, PSA22MMCFWW, PSE29NHTCCSS, PSG22SIPCFBS, PSG22SIREFSS, PSG25SGMHCBS, PSG25SGSACSS, PSG27NHMHCBB, PSG29SHMHCBS, PSG29SHSACBS, PSG29SHSCSS-PU, PTU427SAMRSS, PTU527SAMRSS, RDS2050AGE, RSD2050AGE, RSW2250AGE, RSW2400AGE, T210, T280AD6, T300AT, T310AD, T340, T350ADN, T361AT, TA11E, TA11S, TB15DEL, TB290, TB290DQ, TB290SQ, TB33050, TB360DJ, TB360DN, TB360DQ, TB370SK, TB390SM, TB400DN, TB470DN, TBC270DM, TBC270DQ, TBE16JASJR, TBE19PASPRWW, TBF21, TBF210BB, TBF22RCC, TBG14JAZCRWH, TBG18JAX, TBR12ANTRWH, TBR15ANTRWWH, TBR351ANBRWH, TBX18AGB, TBX23ZHBR, TCB270DM, TF125DJ, TF125DT, TF160L, TF330, TF330K, TF330SK, TF380DML, TF390DQ, TF430, TF430DK, TF430SK, TF450DM, TF460DG, TF460DN, TF460DQ, TF4800KAB, TFE27RMA, TFF20R, TFF24R, TFF24RB, TFF24RBB, TFF24RBC, TFF24RCM, TFF24RRO, TFF24RWP, TFFA24RWD, TFG20JABAWW, TFG20JAWW, TFG20JAXA, TFG20JR, TFG20JRWH, TFG20JRXA, TFG20JRXWH, TFG22JRWH, TFG22JRXA, TFG22PR, TFG22PRXA, TFG22ZR, TFG24PRXA, TFG24RLG, TFG24ZFXA, TFG26PRDABB, TFG27PFSM, TFG27PFXA, TFG28PF-DABS, TFG28PFCEBS, TFG28PFDA, TFX22RLB, TFX22RLC, TFX22RMB, TFX24F, TFX24R, TFX24RLB, TFX24RLG, TFX24RLJ, TFX27F, TFXW22RNA, TFZ22PR, TGF20JR, TPG21BR, TPG21BRDABB, TPG21PR, TPG24BFBB, XRSS264BW.
